Peregrine Wealth has been celebrating 25 years since the launch of its first Guernsey-domiciled fund.
Peregrine Wealth, part of Citadel — South Africa’s leading wealth management specialist — was established to help clients diversify their portfolios globally.
That vision took shape with the launch of Citadel Global Selection, Citadel’s first offshore collective investment scheme, on 3 June 2000. The fund was structured as a Guernsey-based Fund-of-Funds and marked a significant milestone in the company’s global expansion.
Over the past 25 years, Peregrine Wealth said its presence in Guernsey has grown substantially.
In addition to global investment funds, the Group now offers a broad range of services, including discretionary investment management, investment advice, asset management, and fiduciary services.
Peregrine Wealth Director and Wealth Manager Adrian Starr said the 25th anniversary of the Guernsey launch was a milestone to mark.

The fund range has expanded significantly. Today, the team manages six open-ended investment companies and two protected cell companies, all authorised by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.
What began as a single fund has evolved into a comprehensive suite of 15 Guernsey-domiciled funds, providing clients with access to all major asset classes. Peregrine Wealth’s total assets under management now exceed $950 million.
